Your tour operator’s shuttle service waits outside the airport. There are no taxi services, at least for now.

The maximum dive time is 1 hour.

Of course you can! All you need to do is take part in our Check Dive or Scuba Review program to feel comfortable and comfortable in the water again. The check dive consists of a test in confined water lasting about half an hour in which the skills of divers who already have the certification are tested. It requires divers with a first degree with at least 50 dives in the logbook but who have not dived for 6 months; to divers with more than 100 dives but who have not dived for more than 1 year. If you haven’t dived for more than a year and a half, you will have to take part in the Scuba Review which, through a theory lesson and a review of basic diving knowledge, will give you the opportunity to get back into the water with extreme ease.

You can organize your diving days with our staff according to your preferences once you have checked in at the TGI Diving headquarters in Marsa Alam, with the obligation to combine two dives per day (in the morning or in the afternoon).

As soon as you arrive at the hotel where you will stay, you will find a welcome letter from TGI Diving in Marsa Alam, in which there will be directions to reach our office and the appointment time for check-in at TGI Diving.

In the winter the temperatures are around 20 degrees during the day and 12 at night. In summer temperatures are recorded around 37 degrees during the day and 20 at night.

TGI Diving in Marsa Alam offers the full range of PADI courses ranging from Discover Scuba to Divemaster. As well as various specialization courses.

The temperature of the waters of the Red Sea never drops below 18 degrees. The average water temperature is 23/24 degrees, in August it reaches 30/32 degrees.

The time zone for this location is GMT+2, however summer time is applied asynchronously therefore in some weeks of the year Egyptian time coincides with Italian time.

Visibility is 25 meters.

The climate is favorable all year round, however for the period from November to April it is advisable to pack some sweatshirts, a windbreaker and hats. In this period, in fact, the area is quite windy.

The dives scheduled for the Marsa Alam location are all within the no-decompression limit and with a maximum depth of 30 m, depending on experience and certification. We plan dives from land, by boat and by dinghy.

For the destination of Marsa Alam you need a passport and an entry visa (stamps to be applied on one of the pages of the passport and can also be purchased at the banks at the arrival airport).

The TGI Diving cylinders are 12 liter aluminum single-connection tanks. TGI Diving tanks allow both types of connections, both INT and DIN.

The recommended wetsuit for the waters of the Red Sea is a 5 mm for the winter. In summer 3 mm is sufficient.

Obviously our boats are professionally equipped for any type of eventuality. Therefore the presence of oxygen cylinders on the boat is guaranteed.

It is possible to start PADI courses from the age of 10. For the little ones, from eight to 10 years old, it is possible to take part in the Bubblemaker program.

You cannot dive without having a diving license. For anyone who would like to try the experience of diving or undertake the fascinating discovery of the underwater world, TGI Diving offers the Discover Scuba Diving which will give you the opportunity to carry out 1 dive after a mini theory lesson in class and a lesson in the swimming pool. At the end you will be issued the Discover Scuba Diving certificate valid for 12 months.

Certain. Obviously in this case the payment will be credited and made out to you only both in the case of bank transfer and in the case of payment by credit card.

The special dive cannot be booked and paid for online because this dive takes place when the weather guarantees excellent stability and visibility and a minimum number of participants.

To take advantage of the courses and diving packages at special prices you must book and pay for your purchase online within 48 hours prior to your arrival.

The medical certificate is required only in case of recent medical history. If in doubt it is best to have one with you.

All divers must compulsorily have insurance that covers costs for diving accidents/hyperbaric treatments. Not all travel/personal insurance policies include this so please check your policy for the conditions and bring a copy of this with you to the dive for inclusion in your registration.

If you do not have valid insurance for these qualifications, the diving company can provide you with temporary insurance dedicated to divers in collaboration with the Hamata “Deco International” hyperbaric chamber valid for 3 weeks. This insurance covers the costs of hyperbaric/medical treatments for diving accidents and is recommended not only to ensure quick and safe treatment/intervention but also to help keep the hyperbaric system open and operational for all divers.

All TGI Diving have civil liability insurance.

No. TGI Diving does not offer diving cruises.

As regards the days on the boat, there is no online purchase but only on site.

You can pay for services online by credit card, through bank transfer to one of our affiliated banks.

Once you have ascertained your underwater competence and familiarity through a first dive with our staff, you will be able to dive without our supervision.

Yes, the dive computer is mandatory. However, you can rent in our well-stocked centers or buy in our local stores or online, in this case taking advantage of the discounts on online purchasing. In any case, a depth gauge and table are sufficient for diving.

Yes. Discover Scuba (i.e. the diving test in shallow water, in the lagoon facing the beach or in the pool) is always free.

Of course you can buy and do more dives with us! In this case we recommend purchasing a diving package for which you will have a discounted price.

To dive with TGI Diving you will need to remember to bring your diving license and your updated Log Book with you. And in case of recent medical history, a medical certificate. Then you have to fill out the “disclaimer” form. You also need to bring your own equipment, if you don’t have it you can rent it in our very varied centres.

Therefore, as regards the DSD, SD and OWD courses, the equipment is included in the price.
