Located along the southern coast of Egypt, almost on the border with Sudan, the ancient fishing village of Marsa Alam is now undoubtedly the last underwater frontier of the Egyptian Red Sea. Nestled between the desert and a stretch of coastline approximately 100 km long, the Marine Protected Area of Marsa Alam offers its visitors the experience of an uncontaminated paradise made up of ocher-coloured beaches with very fine sand and a spectacular coral reef not attacked by tourism mass.
It is certainly the truest Egypt, made up of Bedouin villages but also equipped beaches and internationally renowned hotels equipped with all the comforts for a holiday full of fun, relaxation and above all the sea. Crystal clear turquoise water and coral reefs that always reserve exciting encounters with very rare endemic marine species, such as the dugong at Marsa Abou Dabab or an unforgettable swim with dolphins at Samadai, the most famous Dolphin House in the Red Sea. However, what will surprise those lucky enough to dive into this amazing sea is the abundance of fish, both pelagic and reef, among the reefs lush with colorful corals and the intense blue of the sea which will always enchant those who venture there.
