TGI DIVING is committed to respecting the privacy rights of visitors to the website. The following information describes the ways in which TGI DIVING collects, protects and uses the information provided by visitors to the websites.
What information is collected?
Information is collected when you register on a site, participate in a contest or promotion, place an order, respond to a survey or communication, such as an email, or when you participate in another site activity.
When registering or ordering, you are asked to indicate your name, gender, date of birth, e-mail address, home address, postal code, daytime telephone number and/or or mobile phone, preferred language and credit card information (only if ordering items), and to create a username and password. Minors are asked to provide their name, age, gender, email address, mailing address, daytime telephone number, credit card information (only if ordering items), and to create a name user and a password. The user must also choose to be added to the email list. It is possible, however, without needing to register.
Information on those who receive the prizes is also collected in order to carry out the procurement and delivery of the prize. The information received about those receiving prizes is not used for commercial purposes.
As with many other websites, “cookies” are used to collect information about visits to the website, and improve the use of the site. For further information on cookies and their use, see the following section “Are ‘cookies’ used?”.
Click stream data and other visitor information that may be associated with the personal information you provide is also received and stored. This information is used to analyze and improve your website experience and to personalize your visit to the site based on your specific preferences.
How is the information used?
The information collected when you register or enter a contest or promotion, purchase products, respond to a survey or commercial communication, browse the site, or use other site features is used in the ways described below .

If you do not wish to receive TGI DIVING emails, please follow the instructions in all emails or refer to the “Is it possible to opt out of receiving emails and delete or change the information you have provided?” If you choose not to be included in the TGI DIVING email list, you will not receive these emails. Visitors who register or participate in other site activities, such as marketing programs, and “members only” content may choose to join the email list and receive email communications and, in below, be removed from the list by following the instructions in all emails.
How is visitor information protected?

However, it will be possible to access most of the functions of the TGI DIVING sites. Visitors who disable cookies can always place orders by telephone by calling the TGI DIVING customer service number.
Is the information collected disclosed to third parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to third parties, other than TGI DIVING LLC’s wholly owned subsidiaries, personally identifiable information, except with prior notice, except as described below. Instead, personally identifiable data is transferred to TGI DIVING LLC in the USA, where the information is stored. All companies wholly owned by TGI DIVING pay the utmost attention to the protection and confidentiality of personal data and adopt privacy procedures and policies similar to this policy. The data may be transferred to partners who host the website, as well as to third parties who collaborate in the management of the site but who are not considered as “external partners”, as they assist in the TGI DIVING activity and offer a customer assistance service, to provided that they agree to keep such information confidential. Disclosure of information is also expected if such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal requirements.
Is it possible to opt out of receiving emails and delete or change the information you provide?
To change your email subscriptions or opt out of receiving emails from TGI DIVING, you must notify us by changing your preferences in the “View or Edit Profile” section. Due to email production and sending schedules, you may receive emails that were already in the process of being sent.
To delete TGI DIVING online account information from the database, please send an email to info@tgidiving.com If you request to delete your account information from the database, TGI DIVING may still retain data relating to a particular sales transaction to be able to complete the transaction and store the data. This information does not contain credit card information.
Links to Third Parties
In an attempt to offer added value, the sites may contain links to third parties. These linked sites provide other regulations for the protection of privacy independent of those adopted by TGI DIVING. Therefore, TGI DIVING declines any responsibility or obligation regarding the contents and activities of linked sites. TGI DIVING is nevertheless committed to protecting the integrity of the site and accepts any feedback on linked sites (including notification of non-operation of a specific link).
Changes to the Privacy Policy
Any changes to this privacy policy will be announced on this page. Changes to the information will only apply to information collected after the date of the change. The last modification to the information dates back to 01 January 2006.
