Marsa Alam, Gorgonia Beach

There are plenty of things to keep those who don’t dive busy in Marsa Alam, TGI offers some trips that whole family can enjoy together, half and full days, from the shore at beautiful natural coral bays, or from the boat to stunning offshore reefs.

From the shore:

The National park is famous as ‘Dugong Bay’. Our trip is a half day snorkeling trip with guide. The bay is wonderful with a sandy bottom. There are great chances of spotting oceanic turtles and guitar fish grazing on the sea grass, and of course if we are lucky the Dugong

A beautiful bay, home to many different kinds of reef fish and hard corals. The bay with white sand is shallow and very well protected, perfect for first time snorkelers.

A full day excursion, snorkelling on the south area, from the shore you can see the wreck of Abu Ghusun, and all the life around it, after we enjoy lunch in a traditional bedouin camp in the mangroove bay of El Qualaan, with its stunning white sandy beaches and turquoise lagoons.The wreck starts at 3 meters, providing a great opportunity for snorkelers to see it!

This natural bay gives easy access for snorkeling for all levels, you have a chance to find our resident sea horses and ghost pipefish hiding on the reef or in a small patch of sea grass near the South reef. The North reef has a colorful coral garden, The South reef is heavily pitted with many swim throughs. You never know what you might find around the corner.

From the boat:

The boat departs from Hamata, after around 2 hours of sailing we reach the south attols close to bernice. We plan for 2 snorkeling trips in the area of Sataya reef where we have very good chances of meeting the resident pod of dolphins, who come to play with the divers and snorkellers visiting.

Enjoy a Full Day aboard a comfortable safari boat with only 30 minutes sailing time from Marsa Alam port to one of Marsa Alam’s richest coral gardens. Here you will admire many types resident barrier fish and several fish “of the blue.” On a lucky day, dolphins can also be present!

After a short trip by boat you will reach the stunning white sandy islands of the Archipelago. Here you will have time to do some snorkeling tours around the beautiful lagoons. A careful eye can also spot many migratory birds at certain times of the year

Samaday,  visit the World renowned Dolphin reef by boat for the chance to have a unique dolphin encounter with the resident wild dolphins that live here. Samaday is a National Park, with a closed number participants. Request reservation a soon as possible for the tickets.

With a short transfer, first by car, then by Zodiac, you will reach this corner of paradise in the Red Sea where blue crystal water and a carnival of colorful corals are the home of numerous giant green sea turtles. An incredible emotion for the whole family!
