Elphinstone reef - North point
Advanced open water
Special trip
Minimum 50 logged dives
This dive leaves even some of the most experienced diver dumbfounded from its beauty, with soft corals in vivid colors. Here you can see schools of Tuna and jacks, giant barracuda and sharks.
Normally the dive starts from the most north point and continues south along the east wall drifting with the current. Along the reef wall there are many gorgonian fan corals, soft corals and black corals. The dive ends on a plateau at around 20 meters which makes an ideal observation point for seeing the oceanic white tip sharks which are often present here.
Due to the depth and currents present here it is only possible for divers with advanced or higher certifications to make the dive.
Delayed SMB required, minimum number of participants needed.
