TGI Diving Marsa Alam North – Badawia Resort
TGI Diving Marsa Alam North is a PADI Gold palm resort located inside the Badawia Resort.
Badawia resort is 40 km to the north of Marsa Alam town, and just 19km south of Mars Alam international airport. The hotel has over 200 rooms, spread out over 150000 square meters of garden bordering a 600 meter long sandy beach and the beautiful Red sea. The hotel uses a Bedouin style of architecture, making a charming and enchanting resort, but with all the facilities one expects form a 4 star hotel, including air conditioning and satellite TV.
The diving centre uses new Mares equipment, our facilities include a shop and reception area, classroom equipped with all the necessary facilities to guide you through your diving courses, equipment washing and storage facilities, toilets and showers, air is provided with Coltri compressors.
The beach has a convenient access jetty, so diving and snorkeling is available from the housereef.
In addition to housereef diving and snorkeling we have a full range of excursions by land to many sites in the surrounding area, including Au Dabb (Dugong bay) and Sharm El Loly. We also offer some excursions by boat, including the famous Samadi (Dolphin house) and of course Elphinstone reef.
There are dive sites suitable for all levels of experience, from complete beginners to the most experienced divers. The sites offer a wide range of life, and each is a little different, diving in Marsa Alam area poses good chances of seeing turtles, reef sharks and guitar sharks, eagle rays, jacks and tuna and many other species of reef fish and corals. Trips to Abu Dabab have good chances to see the resident dugongs, Samadi, the wild dolphins and Elphinstone has chances to encounter Sharks.
We offer a full range of PADI diving courses from Discover Scuba diving through to PADI divemaster, with a wide range of specialty courses also available and all hotel guests are welcome to take a free try dive in the pool.
For the non-diver we also have a variety of excursions available, including Abu Dabab, Sharm el Loly, Hamata and full day boat excursions, our staff are available to help guide you through your experience, ensuring that everyone gets the most out of their Red Sea experience.
