Halaveli: The Diving Center
TGI Halaveli Diving Center
Operational since 1983, it is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Facility. It offers the full array of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba through to the Instructor Development Course. A variety of specialty courses, including our famous TGI Shark and Manta Ray Awareness Specialty Courses, are taught. The instructors and guides speak English, Italian, French, Japanese, Spanish, Dhivehi, Swedish and German.
Diving equipment, including dive computers, are available for rental. We have a fully equipped underwater video centre and personalised videos/dvd's are available on request.
We organise two dives every day, in the morning and afternoon, with night dives and full days on request.

The dive sites include famous places such as Mushimas Minghili Thila (Fish Head), Maaya Thila, and the Halaveli Wreck. We also offer full-day 2 dive excursions to distant places, including Manta Ray cleaning stations. For specific details on our best dive sites, go to the 'dive sites' section of the website.
