Enriched air diving is rapidly becoming more and more popular with divers all around the world, as more research is showing benefits and more and more facilities now offer nitrox. So why dive with nitrox? There can be several reasons to dive with nitrox, as the mix you breath contains less nitrogen, then your body absorbs the nitrogen more slowly, so increasing your no-decompression limits, particularly beneficial on dives with a depth between 18 and 30 meters , where with the right blend you can almost double bottom time! During the course you will learn about benefits and drawbacks of diving with nitrox, as well as learning how to verify the contents of your blend, and plan you dives using nitrox.
